Natural remedies for inflammation in your body

We don't always notice when inflammation has formed in the body. However, these silent inflammations can become very dangerous for us, as the immune system is quickly overwhelmed. The disease is practically like a cold smouldering fire. There is no swelling or redness, no pain and there is no fever. Nevertheless, the inflammation runs silently and secretly in the body. Of course, the immune system then comes into play and works against it. But especially with chronic inflammation, the immune system is quickly overstimulated and can no longer fight the disease. CBD oil, for example, can be a good helper here, supporting the immune system to fight the inflammation.

What exactly is silent inflammation?

Silent inflammation always goes unnoticed due to the lack of symptoms. In this case, the inflammatory process can extend over a longer period of time without the person affected knowing it. Hidden inflammation often occurs in fatty tissue, including abdominal fat. But such silent inflammations can also occur in the lungs or in other areas of the body.

The big disadvantage is that the immune system has to react permanently in order to fight the inflammations. Thus, the immune system is overstrained and at some point can no longer maintain the defence reaction. In addition, silent inflammations that are chronic also increase the risk of developing allergies, autoimmune diseases or cancer.

What are the symptoms of silent inflammation?

Usually, inflammations show symptoms such as redness, warm spots, pain or fever. This is not the case with silent inflammation, which is why it is rarely noticed and can become chronic in the worst case. Nevertheless, there are ways to recognise the inflammation. On the one hand, this is possible because certain messenger substances are driven. The so-called C-reactive protein (CRP) can be detected in the blood as an inflammation marker. However, if the value is only slightly elevated, it is hardly noticeable during a routine check. However, it is also possible to recognise silent inflammation through behavioural symptoms. This so-called sickness behaviour includes, for example:

  • Listlessness
  • Tiredness
  • Feeling of sluggishness
  • General feeling of illness
  • Depressive moods
  • Concentration problems or forgetfulness
  • Joint problems
  • Insomnia
  • Dizziness
  • Visual disturbances
  • Irritability
  • Food intolerances and allergies

Causes of unnoticed silent inflammation

Silent inflammations in the body are not uncommon, especially with overweight and obesity. Especially in visceral fat, the abdominal fat, high amounts of inflammatory messengers are produced. These can then spread throughout the entire body. But poor nutrition or stress can also be causes of inflammation. Lack of exercise, alcohol or cigarette consumption are also possible causes.

What can help against silent inflammation in the body?

In the case of silent inflammations, it is important to fight them quickly. This is because they not only weaken the immune system but are also involved in the development of other diseases. In addition to diabetes, heart attacks and strokes, these can also include dementia, cancer, COPD or mental illnesses. Arteriosclerosis and chronic pain can also be promoted by silent inflammation.

CBD oil can be an important helper here, as the active ingredient cannabidiol not only has anti-inflammatory properties but also strengthens the immune system at the same time. In addition, CBD oil can also prevent the development of other diseases. In particular, insomnia, depressive moods or even listlessness and chronic pain can be combated with CBD oil. Furthermore, cannabidiol also has the advantage that it has a positive effect on diabetes, has a calming effect and supplies the body with energy, which is why listlessness, forgetfulness and concentration problems can also be alleviated.

Of course, CBD oil is not a miracle cure and cannot alleviate all complaints. If you want to banish silent inflammations from your body, you have to do a few things yourself. In addition to the regular intake of CBD oil, overweight should be avoided. A healthy diet and sufficient exercise form an important basis for counteracting silent inflammation. When it comes to nutrition, it is also helpful to pay attention to foods with an anti-inflammatory effect. These include, among others:

  • Garlic
  • Turmeric
  • Ginger
  • Lemon
  • Pineapple
  • Berries
  • Spinach
  • Broccoli
  • Salmon
  • Walnuts
  • Linseed oil
  • Onion

It is sufficient to eat a handful of berries or walnuts daily in addition to taking CBD oil. In addition, fish should be on the menu at least twice a week. Red meat, on the other hand, is not recommended, as it promotes inflammation.

How does CBD oil help with inflammation?

CBD oil interacts with the endocannabinoid system and its receptors. These have an influence on the entire body and can reduce inflammation, positively influence sleep as well as lift the mood. Even though the endocannabinoid system itself usually produces the so-called endocannabinoids, which have a similar effect to cannabinoids, production can be restricted. This is the case when diseases are present or one suffers from extreme stress. Then the endocannabinoid system gets out of balance and can no longer produce the endocannabinoids in sufficient quantities. This means that cannabinoids in the form of CBD oil have to be supplied from outside so that the endocannabinoid system is brought back into balance.

Use of CBD products for inflammation

Inflammations can be reduced with CBD products. The CBD oil or CBD capsules should be taken regularly over a longer period of time. In addition, the affected areas can be rubbed with oil if joint pain occurs.

CBD oil is dripped under the tongue. This is relatively easy to do with the pipette. The drops should then remain in the mouth for about one minute so that the active substance can be absorbed through the oral mucosa. As an initial dosage, two to three drops of CBD oil are recommended so that the body can slowly get used to the active substance. The dosage can then be increased by one to two drops every four days.

Due to the long waiting time for a higher dosage, it is easy to see whether the effect is already occurring. As soon as the desired effect occurs and the symptoms improve, the dosage can be maintained.

Side effects of CBD oil

CBD oil has hardly any side effects worth mentioning, which is why it is an excellent alternative to conventional medicines. Only if the dose was too high, dry mouth, dizziness, nausea and vomiting as well as diarrhoea and headaches may occur. People with low blood pressure should exercise caution, as taking CBD can cause their blood pressure to drop. Pregnant women and nursing mothers should of course also avoid CBD products.

People who take antidepressants, blood thinners or diclofenac products must unfortunately also avoid CBD, as there may be interactions.

Even though some people are excluded from taking it, CBD oil has become important for many users. Due to the very low side effects and the naturalness of CBD products, the remedy is an excellent alternative. This is why more and more elderly people and senior citizens trust CBD products to alleviate their symptoms.
